Rousseau on reflection and reason

This is funny:

A century later Jean-Jacques Rousseau urged a different approach, one of trust in feelings and intuition, and of looking to the inner self for answers: “All the evil I ever did in my life was the result of reflection,” he wrote. “And the little good I have been able to do was the result of impulse.”
